'Modigliani' chess pieces by Nigri Scacchi
These are not just superb chess pieces to play with but also a work of art. The pieces are largely made of marble resin (marble poweder in resin); the marble comesfrom the world famous Carrara mines . Each piece is hand finished, and then aged and expertly painted by master craftsmen. All work is entirely done in the Italian province of Lucca. A classic example of Italian design and manufacturing. PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE PIECES ARE VERY LARGE: King height: 140 mm; Base diameter: 40mm.
Description
Questo non è solo un gioco di scacchi ma una creazione artistica composta da 32 pezzi realizzati prevalentemente con polvere di marmo proveniente dalle cave di Carrara.
I pezzi vengono spianati e ritoccati uno ad uno per poi essere invecchiati e dipinti a mano da maestri artigiani, l'intera lavorazione avviene in Italia nella provincia di Lucca.
Set di scacchi con modelli che si ispirano allo stile del grande Modigliani, realizzata per abbellire arredamenti moderni e adattissima anche per abitazioni classiche, i modelli si prestano molto bene anche per dar vita a sfide avvincenti e memorabili avendo tutti i canoni del gioco.
