This attractive Staunton Weighted chess set looks like real wood but it's actually made from a patented resin based material by the name of Spruce Tek. Pieces are large and heavy and feature a traditional Staunton design with a beautifully sculpted knight. The Spruce Tek resin produces an elegant high gloss finish and the pieces have a black leatherette pads on the bottom. With a combination of beautiful pieces, size, and weight.
