Kill the K.I.D.
Semkov Semko
Descrizione
ln Kill K.I.D. Semko Semkov offers an entirely new approach to the Four Pawns Attack against the King’s Indian Defence (K.I.D.)
Semkov has been trying to kill the KID for more than 20 years. The author feels that current theorie of the Four Pawns Attack is totally messed up if not entirely wrong!
Semkov: ``I have always been unhappy with the Classical variation against the KID It’s an enormous amount of theory that is impractical to keep in pace with, even for a professional player. An ever bigger problem is the character of positions that arise. There is something basically wrong to give Black players such attacking chances as in the Classical variation.``
The author does not offer just minor improvements here and there, but he developes original aggressive ways to combat the KID, in all the major systems and analyses them in great detail. He also covers various move orders for Black known as Modern Defence.
