Shamil Ade Dasni was born at 15 August 1941 in Tiblisi. He is the representative of one of the minor nationalities living in Georgia - Kurds. It seems that he is the first chess composer of Kurd nationality. He is married, had - 3 daughters and has 10 grandchilds. He wants to dedicate this booklet to his daughter Nunuka, who died in 1989.

Shamil Ade Dasni has a degree in practical chess. He had graduated Folk Universitu of Chess Culture in Tiblisi and at the present works as a teacher of chess in Tiblisi Youth Centre.
